The Great Smokies Writing Program is a joint effort between the Department of English and the Asheville Graduate Center. Writers of all levels are welcome to join this supportive learning community in which their skills and talents can be explored, practiced, and forged with guidance from professional writers. In addition to offering classes, the Great Smokies Writing Program also sponsors the Writers at Home reading series and produces The Great Smokies Review, an online publication that features work by students and faculty of the program.
