UNCA’s Writing Program is dedicated to supporting writing across campus. In semesters past, we’ve collaborated with UNCA’s Writing Center to host a Writing in the Disciplines panel and create videos on writing in various academic fields of study (check them out on our website!)
Starting in Fall 2021, we partnered with the Writing Center once more to host the first ever Communicating Across Campus event. This event provides first-year students an opportunity to learn about all the ways we use writing and communication across campus. Students can explore various majors, offices, and programs at UNCA, chatting with upper-level students, faculty, and staff and learning about how writing and communication vary across disciplines and contexts.
